There is a tiger purring in the margins of the meter.
He hums along to an unseen wavelength
An animal let loose off the static leader.
Eyes meet,
And volts overlay together in blind heat.
Across the room, the audio boom
Like the palpitations of a creature in bloom
In open disarray of form,
Leaping off the line, reaching,
With savagery and primal energy.
There is nothing between us,
The vacuum of silence it’s no longer between us,
Only velocity sends the shared chaos of the moment,
Modulations unseen but driving the air,
Frequencies detonating empty space
The hunter dashes across a dry field,
An antelope’s flat high heart flutters,
A moment later in the clutches of breathless, sonic death,
sonic depth,
Silence crushed under the jaws of oscillation,
The humming cycles sparking like the dry cicadas of this savanna
Alive with action,
Excited along an axis.
Ring the alarm.

Shelter in place,
You can show your eyes but not your face.
Stay inside,
From now on you have every reason to hide.
Peel the roads back into trails,
Gone are the bad, old days of blonde, black nails.
Climb the wall,
Bullets in the air make no sound at all.
Escape,
From tomorrow it’ll be too late.
When everything around you fails,
Gone are the bad, old days of blonde black nails.
You never planned for this,
You never longed for this.
When the last have left on vapor trails,
You’ll only have the memory of blonde, black nails.
Years ago,
When you were just a child,
You begin to learn
Language with little purpose,
Griffonage on the static end of a wire.
Now that you have grown,
You can now see
That the noise of chosen few
Will give way to the death of You.
You got no one to turn to when your man is evil.
You have nowhere to turn when you’re world is falling apart.
You got no one to learn to when your man is evil.
You have nowhere to turn when you’re world is falling apart.

Atop a frozen lake,
Near the flattened crown of a mountain,
We are skating on the clean, black reflection of space.
The stars light the rainbow wicks
Of every snowflake,
Compounded in a radiant frost,
And their light mirrored like glitter at our feet.
The moon will rise in time
And the reindeer will flee this place,
Until that time,
You and I
are the only people left of the stars;
Skating.

Epic love begins with, “and he saw her,
And he loved her.”
Epic love begins with, “and she saw him,
And she loved him.”
Epic love has a certitude
like the continuum of a life that has left the linear latitude of time,
Flowing in a vacuum.
In the outskirts of time
Loose bodies of lost choices linger by chance
Cut off from the nexus of of met eyes
Of understanding in a sublime moment,
The air in equilibrium with the crest of blood
Flowing through our veins.
It feels fine to say, “I’m in the right place and time,” or I’m no longer a loner in space
In time, in rhyme, you meet a reality
Like happening on a new species in the rainforest.
Across the canopy of trees,
The R’sinbow eclipses a shadow of nimbus clouds,
A progeny of a micro clime
Hidden behind the shoulders of broken mountains.
You’ll never get there;
You’ll never join the vapor and rest in the sky
With the assuredness of being a solid
While drifting evermore in a mist.
Try to find a place in the world.
There’s a place for you.
There’s a space for you.
Try to find a way to die into this world.
There’s a place for you,
There’s a space for you .
